The platform has opened for grant applications for the new phase of the Scheme for ‘Promoting Energy Saving and Upgrading of Households 2021”.
An external thermal insulation system is a necessary pre-requisite of the new scheme, and GEVO with extensive experience in the field, is in a position to supply the necessary materials for your successful application submission.
The Scheme aims to encourage energy renovation of existing households, belonging to individuals who are permanent residents of the Republic of Cyprus.
The Scheme includes the following three (3 ) types of investments.

Extensive Energy Saving Upgrade Without Photovoltaics
Subsidy up to €20.000
- Energy saving > 60%
- Thermal insultation of shell by 2/3
Extensive Energy Saving Upgrade With Photovoltaics
Subsidy up to €25.000
- Energy saving > 60%
- Certificate of Energy Efficiency: Category Α

Subsidy up to €30.000
- Energy saving > 60%
- Certificate of Energy Efficiency: Category Α
- Complete thermal insultation of shell
- Contribution of Renewable Sources of Energy > 25%
- Additional annual limits in consumption of primary energy and demand on energy for heating
There is special provision for apartment block buildings, while persons in need, may enjoy subsidization of up to 80%.

The MAPEI Mapetherm system is installed by external associates/applicators who have been duly and properly certified by GEVO. It is almost certainly the only system in Cyprus with a track record of over 10 years.
